Upavon

In continuous development since 2007. The focus is on part of Salisbury Plain in Southern England surrounding the village of Upavon. This is an area for which during the 1960s my father was farm manger and where I spent my early childhood. No longer farmed to the extent it was, this remains land owned by the British Army and forms part of the Salisbury Plain Training Area.

Photographs are part of much wider activity including reflective writing. This work has also formed recently completed PhD research with the University of Brighton entitled An Archaeology of Childhood.

The photographs included here are originated on either medium-format or large-format negative.
